Joseph Capraro, the firm's General Counsel, has thirty years of experience assisting clients to develop, manage, enforce and license intellectual property (IP) rights. Joe's clients include private and public emerging technology companies, healthcare institutions and technology start-ups. Joe's work experience spans the engineering arts with particular emphasis on plasma devices, semiconductor equipment, software, analytical science solutions, power supplies, image processing devices, optical components, medical technologies, financial services, and communication systems.

Joe works closely with domestic and global clients directing the strategic development of their patent and trademark portfolios. He has extensive experience with post grant proceedings in the United States and with patent and trademark opposition proceedings globally. He provides both IP and transactional advice tailored to his clients' business and technology objectives. He has amassed extensive experience in this consulting role, providing advice in support of numerous corporate transactions, technology and IP licenses, and settlement agreements. Joe has participated in all phases of IP litigations and in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
