Patricia A. Sheehan
Patricia A. Sheehan’s practice focuses on patent prosecution and counseling, patent novelty, patent infringement and patent validity studies, and pre-suit investigations, as well as trademark registration and counseling and brand protection. She works with clients to develop and manage patent and trademark portfolios in the United States and worldwide.
Ms. Sheehan has also represented clients in patent-related matters in litigation in U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and before the International Trade Commission. In addition, she has consulted on patent-related litigation, opposition proceedings and appeal proceedings in the U.S. and Canada, and before the European Patent Office.
Her practice focuses on a wide range of technology areas including GNSS receivers, antennas, networking and network management, mass storage, precision machine control, financial and payment systems, household appliances, medical devices, and hardware design and software based inventions.
Pat’s clients range from individuals and start up companies to large multi-national corporations.
